On January 1, 2022, Microsoft raises the prices for its software by 5-10%. The company explained that the price increase is due to the release of a new version of Windows Server 2022 and new versions of RDS and Office.

Starting from September 1, 2020, certification centers will limit the validity of SSL certificates to one year, or to 398 days to be more explicit. This decision was made by CA/Browser Forum members in order to improve the security of websites and their users. It is assumed that this measure will reduce the number of certificates that were issued, but abandoned by the owners for various reasons.
